Sofia & Shezed
Vibrant colors and joyous festivites ushered in the marriage of Sofia & Shezed this past weekend at the Hilton in Southlake. The groom is a superb wedding videographer of Hakim Sons Films, so of course we were thrilled that he asked us to take part in capturing their special day! We still can’t get over the whirl of gorgeous colors in the traditional Indian saris, ornate patterns of the mehndi and the unique blending of tradition and celebration. Thanks for having us out to be a part of your ever after! See all the photos here.

Ashley and William tied the knot at the beautiful Laguna Gloria Museum of Art which overlooks Lake Austin. It was a rather warm night in Austin but the wedding and reception were fabulous. Congrats you two, it really feels like you were meant for each other.
The bride and groom toasting each other in the booth. Here’ s to both of you.
Margaret Coltman, from The Arundel Ensemble, who provided the music for the wedding ceremony.
Okay, I like cake, I really like cake. But this guy was as truly excited about a piece of cake as I have ever seen. I think he carried it around for a while before devouring it.

It was a throwback to Old School for “The 80’s Rock” party for Conexis. The party got jammin’ out at Sneaky Pete’s on Lake Lewisville. We even got a little Run DMC action in the booth with a killer boom box and complete 80’s ensemble! Do you think he had to borrow these things or did he secretly have a treasure trove of these goodies around the house? We may never know! Check out all the photos here.
No commentsRobin & Jeff
Robin and Jeff celebrated their wedding at the Hyatt Lost Pines near Bastrop, TX. This place is amazing, and huge. Guests partied into the night to the smooth sounds of The Atlantics.
Jeff and Robin grab a peaceful moment in the booth, but only for a moment. So many people to catch up with, so little time.
I swear, we really don’t hold anyone captive in the booth.

Congrats Brittney and Britt! boothBOOTH was out at The Oasis, the Sunset Capital of Texas, for the reception. Check it out, the view really is spectacular. It was also cool because it was the ROT Rally weekend and there were thousands of bikes at The Oasis. It created a fun vibe. We had a blast and wish you both much happiness.
Britt and Brittney with Jill Moore, the wedding planner for The Oasis, just chillin’ in the booth.

No commentsTiffany & Christopher
The reception for Tiffany and Christopher was held at the Hotel Derek in Houston. The reception was beautiful and the cake was great. So I unknowingly asked who made the cake. The short story is that ‘who made the cake‘ made the cake. Imagine that conversation, whew!
Tiffany with her bridesmaids.
I have to say, these guys did a great job with this. See all the photos here.

The 14th Annual Texas Swing is a fundraiser benefiting Project Transitions, which provides hospice and housing for people with HIV and AIDS in Central Texas. The party was held in Saengerrunde Hall and spilled out into Scholz Garten in Austin. There was a great turnout with some awesome BBQ, lots of two-steppin’ to Alvin Crow, and lots of money raised for the cause.
Mark Jackson, Development Director of Project Transitions, got the booth rolling with a group of friends.
‘Bring it!’ This guy is ready. See all the photos here.

This past weekend also ushered in the nuptials of the divine Monica & Terrance. It was an intimate affair at the lush Four Seasons in Las Colinas with the most gracious couple and their adoring family and friends. We had so much fun at this one that it didn’t even feel like work (no joke)! You entertained us all night with your antics in the booth.
The gals from As You Wish all aglow from yet another successful wedding under the seamless direction of Shari Johns. Do you get tired of being so perfect!? It was such a pleasure to work with you all!
A very big THANK YOU goes out to Angela Bates of the Four Seasons. We should be giving you two thumbs up, not the other way around. Thanks for everything! See all the booths here.
